Light Trapping
The NCES hosts Members Only light trapping events in the late spring/early summer and in the early fall. Join the NCES today to participate in our next event!

Members Only Event
Light Trapping events are open to all NCES members in good standing. If you’re not a member you can join and then register to participate!
Guests
Each member may bring:
• One adult immediate family member/partner;
• Children in their immediate family, and
• One non-family member guest
Miscellany
• Attendees may collect specimens from the collecting sheets.
• We highly recommend wearing long pants, sturdy close-toed shoes, and a snug fitting shirt to avoid being violated by various insects.
• Please bring with you a headlamp or flashlight, optional camera, insect/spider collecting equipment, and anything else you might need to have an enjoyable experience.
